These are all our thoughts in word form. Not to be confused with our thoughts in worm form. Those look like this.

Cracked Behind the Scenes by CK Bond

I recently wrote an article for Cracked(.com!) on The 6 Most Badass Families of All-Time. I promised earlier that I'd provide some behind the scenes content and since the Orioles are currently losing, I thought now would be a good time to deliver. Here's one more badass family:

#7 The Binghams
Hiram Bingham III was a politician who serve as a Senator to and Governor of Connecticut. Pretty neat, eh? Oh and he was a treasurer hunter who found the lost Quechua citadel of Machu Picchu. Huh I could have sworn he was from Indiana.  And I wonder if he ever served as the Majority Whip? I think you know where I'm going with this.

Fancy hats are the key to boning Karen Allen

Bingham served as Spielberg and Lucas' inspiration while creating Indy. But what about all that melting Nazi faces stuff? Apparently that wouldn't happen for another generation.
Hiram Bignahm IV
was an American diplomat in France during the late 1930s. Despite America's policy of discouraging State Department officials from helping Jewish refugees, Bingham forged more than 2500 visas for Germans Jews and often hosted them in his home and paid for their expenses out of his own pocket. As punishment for disobeying orders, the US relocated him to Argentina where he began to hunt down Nazi war criminals.
With magic!
